Eventful Days
Tuesday, January 26, 2010

My third post! I am going to write about my days, today & on Saturday. Well, let's go according to the sequence of events, starting with Saturday...
I have Scouts every Saturday. So I have to wake up at 6.45 am, and as usual, I have to count on my father to wake me up. You know, some people have their own alarm clocks in their heads(mental clock of course). Like they tell themselves to wake up at 6, and they wake up at 6. I wish I have the will to wake myself up, but I always feel so tired until I just fall back on my soft comfy pillow and start a new dream... zzz... Oh yes, to continue. That particular Saturday, we had our PT(I forgot what it stands for) as usual. This time round was a little different. There were new Sec 1s so instead of going to East Coast Park, we, that is, the Sec 2s, 3s and 4s ran around the learning block in school.(Don't tell Mr Chia, though i think he already knows)Our seniors have done pioneering, a bridge, and it is quite sturdy. I learnt new foot drill commands that day too. After that I went home and blah blah blah... I won't fill you in on the details, just being lazy I guess.
Nothing much happened on Sunday, apart from getting a haircut that is seriously short. I don't know how my friends think of me now...(geeky, handsome, I just don't know)
Today, we had RSP Sec 1 orientation for 1A. All the plans on where should we set up our stations, clues that would lead the Sec 1s to each of the stations and etc. , were pretty last minute. First, XZ( Xiang Zheng, if you don't know) had a competition today and told me this morning that he could not make it.(Not blaming him) This left me quite frustrated. What do I do? How do I Leave a good impression on the Sec 1s?(We were in charge of spice smelling) I pondered over this questions. However the fact that we( Evan, Justin & a couple of slackers) managed to pull through actually proofs to me that we can do it. I did most of the talking(all of it actually), Evan did most of the blindfolding and Justin pretty much stood by me and supported me. For that I thank them. However this orientation might have been close to disastrous. Apparantly we did not leave much of an impression on the Sec 1s and there was no cooperation and sec 1s did not know what to do. Other than that, we had fun(sort of). It had been an interesting and learning experience.
Well that was quite a long post. I have GTG. Wait for my next post...
Yours randomly,
Jared

I went off @ 8:38 PM
